Busy Week!

We had a pretty busy week this week with Madaline participating in her first VBS at First Baptist Church of Panama City. One of our friends and neighbors Amy Canfield was helping with the VBS and she took Maddie and brought her home every day so that was very nice. She had a blast of course and last night she got to sing in the closing program with about 400 other children. I may be having a mom moment but it was one of the cutest things I've ever seen! This is her all dressed and ready to go. I did take a few pictures in the auditorium, but they didn't turn out. (Maybe because I was also video taping and wrestling a 2 year old??? Troy had to miss it because of a final at school.)

Of course with Maddie being gone all morning Mommy was having a little trouble entertaining Sam.....he is used to having someone to play with. He got to spend the night with Don and Mary on Tuesday night and take a day trip to Pensacola so mommy could go to work. It was his first sleep over and he did really well. He came back with a shovel that is just his size (huge holes in the back yard now!) and a set of golf clubs that he has been whacking everything with. This picture shows a clever little way he has decided to carry them around so he doesn't have to share with his sister!Troy completed Sociology yesterday. He is starting Ethics on Monday. He decided to double up this summer and then he will only have 6 more courses to complete his associates degree in Pre-engineering! He is working very hard to keep up his GPA and support us working full time. We are very proud of him.
