Big Helper's

This is how Maddie and Sam help me with the laundry. Sam hands the clothes up and Maddie throws them in the water. What a great little team. Hopefully in just a few short years they will be doing all my household chores!

Maddie's Garden

Maddie wanted her own garden for her birthday so on Tuesday night we let her plant one! She was pretty excited about it as you can see! She planted lots of differant flowers and even a Strawberry plant! Now we are just hoping the plants don't die! I tend to have a brown thumb....

Birthday Fun

On Friday, Maddie's actual birthday, it was storming here. All she wanted for her birthday was to go to the beach, but due to the rain we settled for "chicken and fries" at Chic-fil-a. We had dinner with friends that night and she got to open one present from Mimi and Papaw. It was a Bitty Baby doll and an instant friendship occured. She has been a good little mommy- changing diapers, feeding in the highchair and making sure the baby goes down for naps! We are looking forward to a "garden party" when Aunt Melinda comes over this weekend!

Like Daddy Like Son

I took these pictures of Sam and Troy at the park last night. Sam is finally discovering daddy. He has been a good little mommy's boy till now. Now he wants to be in Troy's every step!

This video was from a trip we took to the park tonight. Sam found out that slick pants are not your friend at the park.... The best part was when he lands in about 3 inches of water!

The BIG Catch.....

Joshua and Melinda came to visit us last week. This big bass that Joshua caught on Saturday was definately the highlight of the trip, for the boys anyway! Melinda and I's highlight was hearing the fishing story multiple times and getting to look at the pictures again and again!

My big Helper.....

For the past few weeks Sam has become quite the little cleaner. Every morning he goes to the Laundry room to fetch some type of cleaning tool then he sets out to work.
This little green duster is his favorite. He doesn't use it to hit Maddie as it looks like in the pictures, he actually sweeps the floors with it for hours at a time.
He is also quite the manager. If any of us sits down he goes and gets us a cleaning tool and points his finger around the room while barking out commands. While Philip was visiting last week he kept bringing the broom and putting it in his hand!
