Locks of Love

On Wednesday Maddie had 15 inches of her hair cut off and she donated it to Locks of Love.

She loves the shorter style and I love how much easier it is....but she looks so much older! I guess that happens as they grow :-)

35

This past Sunday Daddy turned 35. We celebrated with a spaghetti lunch and chocolate cake. The kids each chose him a gift and had lots of fun wrapping it up and giving it to him.
We love you Daddy!!

Art Lessons

Maddie and Sam were able to take an art class in the month of May. They both like it a lot and we are considering continuing it in the fall.
Their teacher was alot of fun and taught them a different art form and about a different famous artist each week. These are pictures from their acrylic painted beach scenes.
I'm glad they enjoy art and I'm excited about them learning more in the future.

Little Momma

Megan has developed a love of baby dolls. She pushes them in a stroller, feeds them, baths them and gives them lots of love! She is really growing up too fast!

Disney

We had a blast over Memorial Day weekend with Troy's Family at Disney World.
(I'm really having trouble getting the pictures to upload so this is the best I could do...grrr)
The kids got to meet the princesses and see lots of Disney characters. After we were home and looking at these pictures, Sam told me he didn't want to meet the princesses again! "Girl stuff" He said! I'm glad he was a good sport for his sister because she was awe-struck by the princesses.
This is a picture of the girls sporting their 3-d glasses while they watched a fun movie. Even Megan wore her glasses and really enjoyed the show!
Magic Kingdom is set up very family friendly and Megan was able to ride most of the rides. This is her and Daddy on the Jungle Cruise. We had a great tour guide which made the ride a lot of fun. The kids got to ride every ride they wanted too and some of the rides twice.

After the electric light parade and the fireworks we decided to stay until the park closed at midnight so the kids could ride a few more times. They thought this was the best day ever since they got to stay up late and ride some things in the dark. Momma thought this was the most tiring day ever, but was glad the kids had so much fun!
We also got to enjoy some time in Downtown Disney. Sam loved the Lego store and is posing with the Buzz made out of Legos. Maddie really got into the hands on things and made a car out of Legos and raced it. Sam was more interested in spending his money on Legos.
By the end of the trip we all felt like this...
It was lots of fun and the kids are really looking forward to going back in the fall.
