Well I haven't posted in a while but not because there is nothing going on. I think the more that goes on the less time you have to blog about it :-) We have been very busy trying to get school finished up and lots of time is being spent outside since the weather here is beautiful right now! All of the outdoor adventures have led to quite a few bumps and bruises on all three of the kids. The most exciting thing I have to blog about today is that Troy surprised me with a brand new camera! I'm trying to figure out how to work it and when I do there will be all kinds of awesome pictures on here....

Seven
On the 14th Maddie Hope turned 7 and boy did we celebrate!
(is it me or does she look really old in this picture??)
We had a cookout for friends with a brownie cake. She doesn't like cake which is good with me since brownies are so easy to make!
She requested a Pinata which turned out to be lots of fun for the kids...we should have made a video of this! All of the adults were busy watching the action and then everyone started screaming because Megan walked right into the path of the plastic bat when Sam was taking a swing...no one was hurt so I guess it just added to the excitement.
On her actual birthday Miss Mary made her a special luncheon and the kids went swimming....they are crazy because the water was freezing!
On Thursday night Daddy and I took her out to the Olive Garden and she got to take her birthday money and buy a real camera. We also got her a razor scooter. She really enjoyed getting to shop and pick things out.

Maddie's Baptism
Two weeks ago Maddie was baptized at our church. We were very excited that she gave her heart to Christ a few weeks before that.
At our church they ask the father to go into the baptistery with their children as a symbol of support. They also gave Maddie a handkerchief that was embroidered in blue with the church's name. She was baptized by Pastor Clyde who is our ministries pastor. We really got to know him when Megan was in the NICU because he does all the hospital visits.
