Silly Sam!

Sam has really been showing us his personality lately. Most of the time he keeps me in stitches, sometimes he gets himself into trouble! He reminds me alot of my brother Josh...quite the little comedian. I'm going to include a few quotes to make my point.....

The Haircut

Mommy: Sam get your hands off your head and let me cut your hair!

Sam: Haircuts aren't my favorite! (still covering up his head)

Mom: (calling Dad on the phone for backup...letting Dad give him a talk....) Ok ready for your haircut?

Sam: (uncovering his head) Yes, I'm going to hold my head up like a big boy...just don't cut my ear off!

The Bathtub

(One of the kids favorite things to do is take a bath)

Mommy: Sam lets get in the bath.

Sam: Make sure my water is really hot!

Mom: (Getting the water a safe temperature)

Sam: (Laying straight down into the water) Thanks Mom! This hot water feels AMAZING!

Maddie's Choir

Maddie sang last Sunday night at church with her children's choir. She is in the middle with white and blue on. Isaiah is one of her best friends at church and is next to her on the right. They all did a great job!

A Hint of Spring!

The past few days the weather has been warming up and we are sure enjoying it! Yesterday we enjoyed being out in the yard and blowing some bubbles. Today we took a picnic down to the bay and met Daddy for lunch. I'm very excited to get our garden planted and get some flowers growing again.Sam turning a stick into a gun....Sam turns everything into a gun!
I found this little monkey in my Crepe Myrtle trees! One of her favorite past times now is climbing.

13 Weeks

Well I'm 13 weeks along now and feeling some better. If I get sick it is usually a night, and I'm still very tired. I do have lots more energy in the morning so I'm grateful for that. I feel like I'm showing really early and people off the street have actually asked me if I'm pregnant!?!? Alot of the nurses at work have stated I'm so large they are sure it is twins. Nothing like making me feel my best! Hopefully I'm just getting all the growing in early and then it will slow down.
Sam thought you all might like to see how big the baby is he has growing in his tummy. I think we may have a few problems with him when the baby arrives. He has stated recently that he is the baby, and that once the baby gets here he will be sleeping in the crib with it. Hopefully we can get him used to the idea of a new little one around the house before August!

Hard Working Boys!

Sam and Troy have been working hard to remodel our downstairs guest bath.
Hopefully by this weekend they will have it completely done and I'll be able to post all of our before, during and after pictures!

Random....

I went upstairs to put away laundry and I found this in Maddie's doll house..... I thought it was funny that she used a shoe for a baby bed. Oh the mind of a child!
