Funny Kids....

Maddie has become infatuated with Troy's backpack this week. When Troy comes home, Maddie will unload it then reload it up with various dolls and toys. She likes to carry it around on her back even thought it almost pulls her over sometimes.
On Thursday night Sam cam dragging it into the kitchen and said "Here is you purse daddy!" I though I was going to die laughing as Troy explained that it was a backpack and NOT a purse!

Dear Ruff boys,

Thank you for letting us play with all your toys last week! Maddie's favorite was jumping on the trampoline with "Wevi"! She also loves to play catch with a baseball glove now! Sam loved the vacuum and really misses fighting with Issac over various objects that neither of them really cared about! We love you and miss you, but are sure you are happy your house is quiet again! (And by that we mean the kind of quiet you have with 4 boys instead of 6 children:-) )

Preschool

Maddie started her first day of preschool today. Mommy is teaching her at home. It was a little rough since she and Sam woke up with fevers, but she wanted to start so we did a few things.
I think she was a little over whelmed by the end of the day! Hopefully by friday everyone will be feeling better!

Arkansas Naturals

Last Monday night we enjoyed a minor league baseball game in Arkansas. Unfortunately it started raining and turned a little cold around the 4th inning. We all stuck it out until little Levi declared "Mommy I'm an Ice burg!!" Melissa and I took the little ones home and James and Troy finished the game with Jared.
Sam was really in awe of his first live ball game.
Maddie and Bitty Baby enjoyed the game too!

Devils Den State Park

Last Sunday Troy and James took the 4 oldest kids to Devil's Den State park for some hiking and caving. Maddie had a great time keeping up with the boys.
This is pretty much as far as anyone got into the cave- it's really dark in there!!


Troy said the park was just beautiful!

We are excited to go to Arkansas to see Aunt "Missala" and her boys! for family vacation this year.

We are all smiles today because Troy finished his last class yesterday and is now finished with his Associate Degree!!! We are so proud of all the hard work and long hours he has put in over the past 4 years to accomplish this goal! "The desire Accomplished is sweet to the soul." Prov. 13:19a

Fun with Philip

Maddie and Sam had a great time this weekend seeing Philip! It's so much fun to see how big he is now..walking everywhere! Sam and Philip keep each other laughing! Maddie loves him too and had to be told on many occasions to quit hugging him so tight!

This is the kids checking out the fish at Bass Pro Shop- Daddy and Uncle Joshua's favorite store! (Of course we also had fun seeing Joshua and Melinda!)

Busted!

Sam has busted his lip open again! This little fella is constantly hurting himself! I really don't think I have ever seen Maddie bleed, but Sam is constantly coming to me with a bloody nose or blood pouring out of his mouth! Now he goes strait to the freezer to get his old teether to "put ice on it" ! I have 2 theories on it: Boys are rough or Big sisters are rough!

As you can see he shakes it off pretty quick!
