Last Wednesday Troy's Architectural Design class took a field trip to Rosemary Beach. We decided to tag along since Daddy thought it would just be a short trip and Rosemary beach is beautiful. It turned out his trip lasted about 2.5 hours so the kids and I had lots of time to kill!
We walked the whole town and found some interesting things. This is their little tiny post office! All the streets are cobble stones and the buildings are just beautiful. We hung out in a really cool toy store. The kids loved looking around and the staff was very friendly. There was a train set that went around the top of the store and lots of toys out for the kids to play with.
We also went to an old time candy store and ice cream shop. The kids chose huge suckers of course and worked on eating them the whole time we were there.
We also walked the boardwalk to the beach and just enjoyed playing in the sand.
By the time Daddy picked us up we were tired, but full of sugar and very happy! We ate supper at an amazing restraunt called Shades. It was nice to just spend some time together as this crazy semester winds down.
