The kids found some awesome things in the yard on Saturday while Mommy and Daddy were digging some new ditches for the sprinkler system.
They found this little nest of mocking birds. (Sorry for the blurry pic!) The kids thought it was very cool to watch the mommy keep coming and bringing the baby worms. The birds were cheeping and were really cute.
They also found a ton of ladybugs in this Crepe Myrtle tree. This is Sam pointing one out. Maddie loves ladybugs so this was very neat to them. Sam thought he might like ladybugs too, but Maddie announced with much authority that he couldn't because"All ladybugs are girls."
