This past Saturday was Maddie's Spring Piano Recital. She did awesome! We are working on getting the video on here, but until then here are some pictures for you. She has worked hard all year attending various concerts, playing at the nursing home once a month and memorizing a lot of her songs so she earned a trophy from her teacher.
Her first ever trophy that is a huge deal to an 8 year old!
Since I had the baby in a carrier on my chest and was wrestling Meg through the recital Troy was in charge of all photo and video equipment. That means we got a video of her playing, but not a picture. She played "Mickey Mouse March" as a duet with Mrs. Emily. She had to memorize it and give a short speech at the beginning of her piece. We are very proud of her hard work :-)
