After the recital on Saturday, we headed out to Pier Park on the beach for some lunch and some fun! The kids had been working on some incentive charts for school and had finally filled them up! They got to cash them in on all day arm bands for the Miracle Strip amusement park. They had a lot of fun riding every ride....several times :)
Megan had a good time in the sand box, on the moon jumper and riding around in the kiddie cars. We met up with some friends form church and she had a good time playing with her friend Elijah.
Sam was almost tall enough to ride all the rides by himself, but had to have daddy for the big boat and the tilt-a-whirl. He had a great time riding every ride.
Maddie had a great time riding and running and riding some more. The kids sure slept in for us on Sunday morning! We had told them that with the arm bands they could "ride as much as they wanted" as opposed to us buying them one ticket and them having to chose which ride to ride. When it was time to go (after 5 hours!) Maddie said "I thought you said we could ride as much as we wanted? I'm ready to ride some more!" I guess in the future we will have to re-word that....
This last picture was Daddy and the kids on the Ferris Wheel. It was great to just have an afternoon to relax and have fun!
