15 Months

Megan Joy turned 15 months this week! She is a joy in our lives and keeps us on our toes. She has a strong personality and lets Maddie and Sam know when she is happy with them by giving big hugs, and when she need alone time by screaming and whacking them. We have been working on gentleness already, but she is doing it in self-defense most of the time! She is also in love with her Daddy! She goes into every room in the mornings saying "daddy?" When I say he's at work she says "no!" And just keeps looking. She doesn't like shoes or socks on her feet and often works very hard at removing them. She still has a dislike for anything in her hair. Rubber bands get pulled out with lots of hair attached (ouch) and barrettes are simply removed and handed back to me with a smile :-) We have learned to just love our barefoot, bangs in the eyes little girl!
She has really been working hard at walking on her own. Maddie and Sam were late walkers, but Megs is taking it a little far here! She can stand on her own and has taken a few steps, but is content to push her toys around to where she needs to go. She has a big vocabulary so I'm afraid we might have another little talker on our hands! We are thankful for her everyday.
