All Aboard!!

This past Saturday we traveled up to Bristol, FL with some friends to visit a train station. The kids had lots of fun and the weather was absolutely perfect. The station is run by a nice group of retirees who seemed to have lots of fun showing the kids around and giving tours on the train. Unfortunately, the train had broken down right before we arrived so the kids just got to ride the "spare" train that was really made out of a roller coaster. They had fun anyway and we got to see the real train and go up in a real caboose.
Here are some of the kids walking the tracks back to the playground.
The playground was a lot of fun, and the kids enjoyed a picnic lunch. Poor Meg took a tumble off the see-saw and busted her chin up.
Here are the babies and Meg and Madison at the station waiting for the train to arrive.
 On The ride!
The tracks went back into the woods, over a bridge and through a tunnel.
Daddy and Marla in front of the caboose.
It was a fun family day...just nice to do something different :-)
