On Saturday Maddie and Sam turned into a big girl and a big boy! All of our baby blankets went into the attic and they each got to go to Build-a-bear to make a new friend to sleep with. (Sam has been sucking two of his fingers since birth and now his little jaw and teeth are moving forward as a result of it! We had to break him of his blanket because as soon as he gets it his fingers go in his mouth.)
Sam picked out a panda bear and a baseball outfit. He has shed a few tears over not having his blankie, but is warming up to his new friend. He won't sleep with the bear if it has on the baseball outfit so I have to undress and dress it twice daily!
Maddie got a Hello Kitty dressed as Tinkerbell. (Poor confused little animal!) She doesn't mind not having her blankie because she just likes to sleep with anything that has a tag and Hello Kitty has a tag.
This is a picture of Daddy dressing Sam's bear. I honestly think that with the amount of money they charge for these animals they should dress them for you, but that is just me.

We've never done build a bear, but that looks like so much fun! I love the Hello Kitty doll, brings back lots of memories. :)
Kymberly saw Maddie with the Hello Kitty doll and got sooo excited and said, "Hey, she has the same one as me!"
Build-a-bear is alot of fun. Dressing a stuffed animal every day, not so much fun!
