Maddie and Sam got to stay up late one night last week to see our neighbors Night Blooming Cereus Cacti open up. These plants bloom just once a year and only at night. The blooms are starting to wilt by the morning.
They had a lot of fun. They wore head lamps and took snacks over. The whole process took about on hour and they thought it was pretty neat to watch to bloom. Maddie has been studying plants in science so this opportunity came at a great time for her.
God's creation is amazing!
