While we were in IN the kids got to visit a few farms. Papa and Mimi Amis recently bought a farm close to where they live now. The kids really enjoyed looking around, maybe next time it won't rain everyday and we will get to go fishing!!
When we took Great-Grandma Miller the Aunt Brenda's Cut and Style for her weekly hair appointment, Uncle John came driving up in the big Blue Tractor for lunch. Maddie was very brave and got up in the drivers seat, but Sam just wanted to check out the tires.
Later on we got to go to cousin Grace's and ride her pony "Thunder". Grace is quite the cowgirl and the kids had a great time. Maddie was glad she finally got to see a "real" farm. She told Papa Amis- "If there is no animals it's not a farm!" I guess Papa better work on getting some animal's before our next trip home!
